Words Coach

The Words section covers single-word vocabulary that isn't a verb or a noun: adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, numbers, and other isolated words.

Examples: siempre, nunca, muy, bien, despacio, para, por, aunque, grande, pequeño, primero.

It runs the same three-step flow as Verbs and Nouns: Setup, Study, Test.

Setup

  • Select Words — filter by CEFR level, frequency, grammatical category, and topic.

Study

  • Browse Words — a searchable list of the words in your current selection, with translations and audio.

Test

  • Word Meanings — flashcards in either direction (Spanish ↔ your language), or a random mix.

When to use Words

The Words section captures the connective tissue of everyday Spanish: the adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, and conjunctions that hold sentences together but aren't covered by the structured Verbs or Nouns sections.

For multi-word expressions like buenos días, de vez en cuando, encantado, see the Phrases section instead.
