Terms of Use¶

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the LinguaMorpha mobile application (the "App") published by Hans Bakker ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
The App¶
LinguaMorpha is an iOS app for practising Spanish verb conjugation, noun vocabulary, and everyday words and phrases. It is provided as a learning tool — not a substitute for a qualified language teacher or for any kind of certification.
The App stores all of your data locally on your device. We do not run a server, we do not maintain user accounts, and we do not collect personal information. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
Licence¶
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
- Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer the App or your access to it.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage the service or others' use of it.
Free trial and one-time purchase¶
The App offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.
After the trial ends, full practice and lesson features remain available only after you complete a one-time in-app purchase. The purchase is a single payment — it is not a subscription, does not auto-renew, and does not result in any recurring charges. Once purchased, the App remains unlocked on the Apple ID used for the purchase, and you can restore the purchase on any of your devices signed into the same Apple ID using the "Restore Previous Purchase" button inside the App.
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Refund requests are handled by Apple — see https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
Updates and changes to the app¶
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve content. Updates may change or remove functionality. We do not guarantee that any specific feature will continue to be available in future versions.
Disclaimers¶
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Spanish language content (translations, conjugations, examples, grammar notes) is provided in good faith but may contain errors. You should not rely on the App as the sole authority for important communications, examinations, or professional translation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
Feedback and bug reports¶
Inside the App, shaking your device opens a pre-filled email with a screenshot attached, which you can send to us. Anything you send us as feedback is non-confidential, and we may use ideas and suggestions in future versions of the App without obligation to you.
Termination¶
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may discontinue the App or revoke your licence if you violate these Terms. If we discontinue the App entirely, no refund of one-time purchases is owed beyond what Apple's standard policies require.
Governing law¶
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
Changes to these terms¶
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will surface a notice inside the App.
