Phrases
The Phrases hub collects Latin sentences in three groups:
- Set phrases: 22 fixed expressions such as salvē.
- Verb example sentences: over 1,800 sentences from the verbs' Tense Examples. A sentence only appears when its tense is switched on in Select tenses.
- Noun example sentences: over 1,700 sentences from the nouns' examples.
The hub has these screens:
- Select phrase groups (Setup): tick the groups you want. Each row shows a few sample sentences, and ⓘ shows more. Your CEFR level and topic scope also apply.
- Phrase reference (Study): the selected sentences with their translations.
- Phrase meaning (Drills): flashcards for the translation of each sentence.
This hub has no Theory page for Latin.
