Short tú commands (Imperativo)

Eight verbs have a short affirmative tú command — di, haz, ve, pon, sal, sé, ten, ven — and their compounds keep it (propón, mantén), except those of decir (predice). The negative comes from the presente de subjuntivo, as every negative command does: no digas, no hagas, no vayas.

The card. The back shows the tú form of the Imperativo Afirmativo and of the Imperativo Negativo. The book opens the verb's conjugation at those two.

The deck. Every verb in your selection with a short tú command. About one card in five is a regular verb — twenty irregulars bring five — drawn afresh each time you open the drill, so you have to decide whether the verb departs at all.

Grading and the session work as in Future stem (Futuro / Condicional), and each graded card is recorded once for every form on its back.
